The post office is on my grrrr list.
First I tried to send a large manila envelope to Norway with stamps, well it came back. Seems the post office does not allow you to use stamps on anything larger than a letter or card...say what ??? really, are you kidding me ?? Stamps is USPS currency isn't it ?
Then on the same day that I got the envelope back in the mail, supposedly the post office left me a notice for a package that required a signature. Typically the office will sign for all our packages, guess for some reason this one slipped by, and yet I never found the "notice". I tried tracking online and all that I could find was that they had left a notice, anything more than that, like which post office to pick it up at, I could not find. The 800 number for USPS was not helpful and impossible to get a human, I found the phone number for the local post office and called them, they couldn't find the package online as it had not been scanned by the carrier, they had to search for it. They finally found it and I requested it be reattempted and have the office sign for it. Finally 3 days after the "first" attempt it has been delivered !!
The poodles are the light of my life, I love them so.
I should have known when I missed stirring my french press coffee at three minutes three seconds, that today would SUCK ASS.
Yes I have a thing for numbers... I can't get out of bed unless the numbers match 5:05, 5:15, 5:25 and so on, but the numbers have to be the same on my bedside clock and on my cell phone at the same time, which can sometimes be tricky, if I miss I have to wait 10 minutes to get up. Nice way to start the day :)
Work was sucky too, I was very cranky, lunch time with the poodles helped. Poodles make everything better !
How can they not make you smile, the are so beautiful and goofy. Poodles are known as clowns, and they have such heart, they truly are the best on earth. That is probably why people mix them with virtually every other breed known to man. Doodles make me crazy, people pay so much money for a mixed breed that is more often than not from a BYB or even worse a puppy miller. People need to educate themselves and stop buying "designer breeds" as well as puppies in pet stores. Grrrrrr.
I wish I could get some sleep, just like the sweet little baby Tor ..

I barely slept last night, I am hoping that I get some sleep tonight.
I am anxious over this nonsense with my mom, and it is keeping awake at night. How do I deal with the issues with minimal hurt ? is it even possible ?
I am so lucky to have 2 of the most wonderful poodles ever, they bring me such joy.
They make anything bearable... anyone who does not have the love of a poodle in their life is really missing out. They truly are special.
..no I don't jog or run track, I run from conflict.
At the moment, well since my parents divorce, my mom is my biggest source of conflict. I want to forgive and forget, but for some reason I can't get past it.
I don't know how to deal with all the shit that I have kept way down deep inside me, but each time I try it just causes me anxiety, migraines and depression.
I know that I have to forgive, not only for myself, but for my mom and my dad.
I want this to be the year that I can get past it..
Today it was warm 51 degrees and we had some fog, and a little rain.
2010 was a drag ... the weather kinda sucked..
last winter we barely had any snow, the spring and summer were hot and very humid, we spent most of the summer inside :(
this winter we got our first real snow on 12/27, a whopping 6 inches. We had a blizzard and so the snow kinda just blew all around, so some spots were bare and some had snow.
2011 hasn't started out much better ...
as you can see it is a slushy mess.....
I am hoping (and I am sure the poodles are too) that the weather turns around and we get lots of snow, that stays snow and does not turn to slush and mud :)
